Great sounding strings

Very growly and slightly low-mid-focused sound, absolutely fantastic. They sound great on my Warwick Thumb 6. The string tension also feels a bit lower and I find the strings are much more comfortable for finger style playing than steels/nickels at same gauge sizes.

I've previously purchased Ernie Ball Cobalts for my 4-string bass and they corroded heavily in just a couple of weeks of playing at home (and my fingers are even not that particularly sweaty). I was afraid it would be the case with these too, but so far I haven't had any problems. Had them on for nearly a year.

Hab früher die Cobalts auch auf der Gitarre gespielt. Seit einiger Zeit spiel ich jetzt 6-String Bass und da hat man ja nicht die größte Auswahl also probier ich die gewohnten Gitarrenmarken mal aus bevor ich etwas mehr für Hi Beams oder so bleche.

Naja, Packung auf, Saiten und Fast Fret drauf und ab gehts.
Krasser output, schneidende höhen, entspannte tension auc in drop A. Der glasige klavierartige Klang den mancher so jagt auf der tiefen H/A Saite ist knapp verfehlt, aber ich schätze da muss auf kurz oder lang doch ein Multiscale her :)

Heute war die 3. Probe mit den Saiten und sie sind immernoch schön hell und klar, hab noch keinen merklichen Nachlass der Qualität gehört. Natürlich immer schön sauber und trocken gehalten.

In 2 Wochen kommt dann der "Langzeit"bericht
