Almost perfect
--martin-- 11.08.2026
I've had this guitar for about two months now. The pickups have a good and powerful sound, as you would expect from good humbuckers, as well as being particularly hot and bright. The split function mimics the single coil quite well, although the differences are there, but barely noticeable. The guitar is light and the neck is pleasant to grip like any other SG I played or Les Paul I have. No scratches were visible on receipt, the polish was smooth and clean, without any mark. The neck is glued in as it should be, deep in the body, so any concern that it would break or fall off are not really worth meontioning, if you ask me. No signs of cracks where neck joins the neck.
Given that it's an SG, the neck dive is present (I guess that is because of locking machine heads weight), but that doesn't mean it's annoying. As I am used to subconsciously press my right arm against the body of the guitar, so the neck doesn't fall, this was not the slightest problem for me, but if you don't do that, think again if you want to buy SG, especially online. It can be also slightly reduced with a wide leather strap.
The only thing that bothered me was the guitar cable input. Who would have thought, but I was barely capable of pushing the cable into the hole at first, as if it was too narrow, and it also took quite a bit of force to pull it out. I later found out that the problem was inside, as something scratched my cable. Fortunately, this is no longer the case now and it works just fine, but I thought it was worth mentioning. Besides that there wasn't any other problem like strings height or with nut or electronics. The tuners have preserved the tuning fairly well so far, basically almost perfect, so I have no compains about it.
I think the guitar is more than excellent for the price, especially considering that it comes with a suitcase, with a wide variety of options for tone control and it has beautiful artwork, which is of course a matter of taste, but is undeniably unique, which is one of the reason why I bought it and don't regret it. Maybe I would wish for a transparent pickguard.

Sehr gut!

Also ist alles gut.
