hard as a rock

i bought these for when i play the bass. if you are into the triangle shaped picks - these are for you. the center part is kind coarse so that works as a grip as well.

i mostly play with my fingers, but these are always in my equipment bag in case my fingers get sore or Ive had too much to drink and my mind can only coordinate one hand at a time, then i switch tho the pick lol

Solid

I use these for guitar, which may already sound like overkill but y'know, you gotta chug.
I like how the picks have a symmetric design basically giving you 3 edges to wear out so you basically have 3 pick lifespans in one which is amazing.
The solid material which paired with the thickness is likely intended for bass, but for guitar i expect these to last a long time, i would even expect several string sets to come and go before i go through a pack of these.
Most guitarists will probably settle for a sharp edged 2.0 mm pick for riffy stuff but not me hahaha
To each his own i guess, i also like that they are quite large as surface which makes them feel more stable.
Grip is nice too, can't complain

Damn they're cool

Long time ago I had one of these and for my misfortune I couldn't lay my hands on them for years. Not for any longer <3 The 3 mm thickness may force people to think twice but as every musician tool - they also have a purpose. I feel really comfortable playing with one of these on fast bass lines, especially on the B-string. There's no position shifting and finger pain at ~200 bpm like with the lighter picks. They also seem to wear off quite slower than the other picks I've tried.

If you're one of these guys, playing most of the time on the B string or more heavy strings, I heavily recommend them!

Thick pick!
Bartlomiej Z. 21.04.2015
This is the thickes guitar pick I've ever had in my hands. As all of Stubby Triangle family members, it is concave, which makes it easier too keep and harder to lose while playing. I mostly use it to play hard rock or metal, but with proper feeling it can be used to play e.g. blues as well. Using it, I can hit the strings strong enough to make them play a little out of tune for a moment!
Despite its thickness, this pick can fit in a Dunlop JD5005 pickholder. Actually, the pickholder can store only two picks that are so thick, but I think that's enough, because I've never let it go while playing.

It's unquestionably both stubby and triangular...

... and does exactly what it says on the packet. Just the job for the heavy-handed and ham-fisted bassist / guitarist. Buy with confidence!

Great picks
luffarvante 09.03.2024
Great picks. I use the mostly for bass guitar.
They wear out quite quickly though, at least when used on steel strings, but then you just flip over to the next edge.
I do wish they also made these in the harder/more durable solid grey material, like for the "regular" big stubbly picks.
