Standard for all my guitars and basses
As the heading says, I tried a set of these years ago, and now I put them on everything I buy. I'm happy to be "limited" to this system, as I can still swap straps around between all my instruments.
Pros:
- they work, and they keep working.
- they're easy to fit, and can be removed wihout much trouble.
- you can still use a regular strap on guitars fitted with these.
Cons:
- the screw is pretty deep, so it sticks out a couple of millimetres from the back end of one of my guitars - I was just worried about splitting the wood if I drove it any deeper. I drilled a hole through a pick and used that as a spacer, as a workaround.
- once you've fitted a strap with the matching clips, you can only use it with instruments that are fitted with these, until/unless you remove them from the strap.
- they _feel_ slightly rattly, but I've never had one fail on me yet.

Great and discret !
I never liked the look of the original Dunlop Straplok, because it didn't look as authentic as the oirignal guitar strap buttons.
But these are really great ! Because it's faded perfectly in the look of the guitar and seemed authentic. You can also use them without the strap button and you could use a regular strap with them.
These have never failed me and I've been using them on various guitars for a lot of years !

Great locks
Unmatched quality
4 stars only as it was difficult to set them on a very thick (5mm) strap

Bit Pricy... Can't just buy the guitar knobs..
I've got a really comfortable strap with my wireless fitted to it I use on all my 3 guitars. But have had to buy the whole kit each time, even though I only need the guitar strap knob... Bit of a con really...

You get what you pay for!
It's a nice straplock! I've been using dunlop straplok for 5 years now and never had a complain with them. They are practical, small, and with a cool design. It's definitely worth it!
