DR Strings Black Beauties BKE-11

ever since I fitted these strings to my daughters warlock i have been incredibly impressed with how long they have lasted without needing to be replaced. Tonally they are crisp and clean, and in conjunction with the emg 80/85 pickups they growl through the heaviest riffs but can clean up beautifully for melodic shredding.

not really have any cons except that after a fair amount of use, the coating comes off in the picking area of the guitar if you use very hard picks. these are not the strings to use with any metal pick type at all.

Just going on looks, they are almost invisible on a black guitar with a black fretboard. One of the other guitarists in the band thought she had rotten strings that were dirty and worn until he looked closer and saw that they were in perfect condition, just very black!

If you are the sort of player who sweats acid, then these strings will save you a fortune.
