Die Diamante sind etwas heller als Nylon-, aber nicht so grell wie Carbon-Saiten, und besser zu spielen als Carbon (was Intonation, Vibrato, Bindungen betrifft). Die sonst oft kritische g-Saite macht sich gut im Set. Auch die Bässe sind sehr ausgewogen.
Wegen der geringen Saitenspannung auch bestens für längere Mensuren geeignet (auf meiner 1973er-Ramirez 1a hatte ich vermutlich noch nie etwas Besseres drauf). Als Berufsgitarrist mit 40 Jahren Erfahrung und Dutzenden getesteten Saitensätzen empfehle ich sehr, die Diamante einmal auszuprobieren !
