What a superb Pickup,
Its Very Articulate in the high mids with a very round bottom end , No shrillness but yet it delivers a punchy and full top end.
More than enough power to drive most amps and it rolls off to a great clean tone while it retains plenty of cut to get through the mix.
Also It balances really well with the Liquifire to give some really convincing "out of phase" split coil sounds :)
Build quality is classic dimarzio with a great finish on the bobbins,the tape is wrapped nice and tight.
All in all a very difficult item to find criticism with.
Well done dimarzio, yet another well priced, great sounding and well built product.

Nach dem vierten Versuch endlich eine absolut passende Pickup-Kombination in meiner Les Paul Custom. Die Traditionalisten mögen es verzeihen, aber weder die Originale (Classic 57), noch die hochgelobten Suhr waren zufriedenstellend. Die Slash-Teile waren schon besser, aber erst diese hier haben das, was diese erstklassige Gitarre braucht: Definition, genug Power, Saitentrennung - auch am Hals ist F-Spaced kein Problem.

Absolut empfehlenswert - man kann ruhig mal Ungewöhnliches probieren!

Un micro précis et tranchant

Ayant récemment acheté une nouvelle guitare dont les micros ne me convenaient pas, j'ai opté pour le couple CrunchLab / Liquifire sur les conseils de mon Luthier.

Ce micro est vraiment ce que je cherchais pour cette guitare :
=> Un son tranchant et rentre dedans tout en gardant une très grande précision même avec le gain de l'ampli presque à fond. Mais attention, ce micro chante aussi bien dans le registre rock'n roll.

=> Seul petit bémol, son haut niveau de sortie pour un son clair, qui le rend très claquant et le fait cruncher très vite, mais bon ce n'est pas pour le son clair que je l'ai choisi

En Bref : C'est vraiment agréable de pouvoir jouer des accords enrichis en grosse disto, et d'en entendre distinctement toutes les notes. Je place sans hésiter ce micro dans mon Top 3 des micros chevalet.
