Spitzenklang, aber...

... die verbaute Verkabelung empfinde ich als Unverschämtheit: Ohne einen gemeinsamen Mantel "fliegen" hier vier dünne Kabel und eine ungemantelte Erde aus fem Pickup, was bei mir nach dem ersten Einbau prompt zu Störgeräuschen führte. Nachdem ich die blanke Erdungsader manuell mit Iso-Band verarztet hatte, war alles o. k. Bei dem Preis für den Pickup ist das schon ein starles Stück. Noch ein Hinweis für Bastler: Wer die Pickup-Kappe tauschen möchte, muss erheblich fummeln, um den Pickup in eine handelsübliche Single-Coil-Mütze reinzupfriemeln, da überhaupt kein Spiel von der Größe her besteht und zudem noch seitlich eine Lötstelle angebracht ist. Der Klang ist spitzenmäßig, ich habe den Pickup in einer Powerstrat-Kombination HS2-HS3-Humbucker from Hell verbaut, die exzellent klingt.

Tämä toimii seymorin tallamikin kaverina stratossa johon rakensin
Toisen pleksin . Helppo vaihtaa takaisn singlecoiliksi
Tai käyttää mikin puolitusta singlecoilina. Ei hävie yhtään orkkis straton
Singlecoil mikeille. Kirkas soundi sinlecoilina paksumpi tuhdimpi soundi
Humpparina! Hyvä ostos ja hiukan halvempi kuin Seymor duncan vastaava!

Un micro pas pour le son ^^

J'ai acheté ce micro sur les conseils d'un technicien de chez DiMarzio afin d'être monté sur une Ibanez RG470 en position centrale. L'utilisation de ce micro est en général en "Hum-cancelling" et c'est d'ailleurs pour cela que je l'ai acheté. Pas de grande personnalité, niveau de sortie moyen, je ne l'ai pas conservé et ai préféré complètement supprimer le micro central. Cela dit pour celui qui souhaite conserver l'esthétique d'origine d'une guitare comprenant 1 simple et 2 doubles et pouvoir bénéficier de split sans ajouter de switch ou de potentiomètre push/pull il rempli très bien son rôle

Excelente pastilla, respuesta clara y articulada, a pesar de tener poca salida, (Es la que lleva Eric Johnson en el puente como parte de su famoso tono...) no es una single coil, ni una humbucker, es diferente, tiene una respuesta cálida y con mucha claridad, característica marca de la casa. Muy recomendable si buscas cancelar el ruido de tu strat, pero no esperes el twang de una true single, porque como he dicho antes, es diferente.
Pros: Cancelación de ruido, mucha claridad y agudos redondos.
Contras: Si lo que buscas es el tono de una true single coil, es posible que haya mejores opciones.
