Perfect upgrade for Squier Standard Strat
Build this in the bridge position, just take out and replace. Some basic soldering skill is required the rest is on Yuotube:-)
The tone is indeed "Fat Strat" and sounds via a marhall-type amp simulation a good deal like the typical Ramones sound (which is a lot more flexible than given credit for).

an oldie but a goodie
one of the first higher output strat pickups to be release back in the 70s, it still does a great job. balances well with standard strat pickups, but with a thicker sound. still chimes and the quack positions are still perfectly stratty.
