A nicely made product that seems durable

Let's face it, there's only one function this product has to serve - and it does it well. This feels solid, with only a little bit of torque when you apply pressure: it isn't wafer thin and suggests that it will offer decent protection against accidental hits and spillages). It will certainly keep the dust off the board.

This fits snugly on the atem which keeps the lid 'locked' in place, which I appreciate (I've read one or two reviews which indicate this wasn't the case for others). Mine can't be jostled around because it only sits lightly 'on top': it actually needs a little bit of pressure to ease off.

Note that it does not cover the back vents (or affect the cabling) when in use.

I picked up this to go with my mixer, but in reality I could have saved my money. Since I use my mixer daily, it's just annoying to have this on but if you don't use the device for prolonged time, it is indeed useful
