In a search for new mouthpiece for my Yanagisawa soprano, after years of playing Charles Bay metal, i was choosing from Jody Jazz DV 7*, 8* and this Guardala.
Well, the Jody’s are extremely confortable, but provided for me narrow, uninteresting sound. Comparing to Guardala - open sound, not that easy to control, but fantastic sound color options, from darker jazz sound to bright smooth jazz sound. It depends on the position of lips and breathing. Easy to be in tune and wide dynamics range. It’s awesome.
