Doesn't stick, wasted money

Bought the pad together with a new kickdrum head. Removed the foil without touching the adhesive, gently stuck it in the right position and when I was trying apply more pressure to stick it in place firmly it already started to slide around (on a clean, new batter head). From there it took 5 hits with the pedal and the pad fell off.

habe jahrelang nach ner lösung gesucht meine kick drum fett und gleichzeitig "klickig" klingen zu lassen , damals war der einzige weg für mich den kessel komplett mit decken und kissen auszustopfen , was aber die lautstärke stark beeinflusste oder besser gesagt die lautstärke komplett runtergefahren hatte , und damit auch die subs und den body der kick ...

nach ein paar tutorials auf youtube stand fest ich brauch ein danmar pad , hab die teile schon oft bei anderen drummern gesehen aber dachte immer die seien nur für den schutz des fells oder so in die richtung desshalb hab ich mir nie sowas zugelegt . in kombi mit den tama wood beater heads und einem remo powersonic clear fell kickt die bass drum genau so wie sie soll , klingt auch ohne compressoren und eq?s richtig fett und punchig ! nur zu empfehlen !

Ich verwende das Pad um mehr Kick in meine Metal, aber auch andere Produktionen zu bekommen, die man sonst nur mit heftigem einsatz von EQ und Kompressor sowie ggf. anderen Studio tricksereien hinbekommen würde. Was sich natürlich auf die Phasenlage auswirkt.
Um Front End arbeiten zu wollen also eine gute wahl!

Das Pad muss (bei mir zumindest) nach einer weile mit Gafa gegenfixiert werden weil sich der Kleber von den Beater aufschlägen irgendwann anfängt zu lösen.
