Das Jazz Alto 7 ist ein sehr gelungenes Mundstück für relativ kleines Geld. Vergleichbare Mundstücke liegen meist beim doppelten Preis. Es ist vom Ton her sehr voll. Thomann beschreibt das Mundstück mit (das Select Jazz ist Vintage inspiriert und orientiert sich im Ton und Gefühl an gefragten Jazz Mundstücken aus den 40er und 50er Jahren). Das kann ich nur unterstreichen. Was mir besonders gut gefällt ist die gute Ansprache im Flageolett Bereich. Es ist wirklich ein gelungenes Mundstück, dass ich weiterempfehlen kann.

Le bec a de belles lignes. Toutes les dimensions du bec sont notées sur l'emballage. Le son est chaud et rond, ça me change de mon ancien un S 80...Je l'utilise avec une hanche de V16 de 2,5. Ma ligature de Selmer convient pour la mise en place de la hanche.

Als Musiklehrer teste ich Mundstücke für Schüler und für mich selbst.
Das Mundstück hat mich positiv überrascht.

+ Die Ansprache ist echt gut.
+ Mit passendes Blättchen kann man auch "Klassisch" spielen.
+ Der sound für Jazz hat gutes Charakter.
- Schade dass es kein Blattschraube und Kappe dazu gibt.
(So wäre es der Hammer.)
Fazit: ich vermute das Mundstück wird nach paar Jahren bekannt und beliebt, und kostet mehr. Also zuschlagen! Lohnt sich.
