Daddario PL008 Single String

Just replacement string for Fender Yngwie Malmsteen set. Satisfied with both, the sound of 008 doesn't stick out of the crowd.

I use these strings to give the high G on my 12 string Epiphone Guitar. They sound great and being individually packed means that they are always in great condition when the packet is opened. Great price at Thomann too.

I bought these 0,08 spares for my two 12-string guitars (high G-string).

They don't break easily, but you never know.... D'Addario has never let me down, except for an occasional broken string. I had a set of strings of another brand, put these on, broke the 0,08. Replaced it with one from yet another brand, which let me down too. I replaced it with a 0,09 which is still holding.
I will replace the whole set in the near future with D'Addario Phosphor Bronze 0,10-0,47, and probably will NOT break the 0,08 ever again.

I had been using Ernie Ball 2225 008-038 strings in standard E tuning, but while attempting to clean the fretboard, I accidentally ruined the E string and had to quickly search for a replacement. This one sounds fantastic when paired with an Ernie Ball set, no difference at all.
