by using this G string I extend the life of a set strings by a week or more... Usually I replace my strings every week mainly because of the G string ... now I need only replace them every 2 weeks ... I save 50% of my annual string costs .. happy days ..

Wound G is a gee thang! Sounds more balanced, wish they made a pure nickel version. Awesome still, still awesome!

I bought a string for my guitar to get the third string to sound right. I tried the third string with wound for the first time. It has a slightly unusual sound, but overall I like the new experience.
