J'ai un alto 14" de chez Thomann pour m'y initier. J'ai voulu cette corde en remplacement de la corde d'origine réputé pas fameuse. Pas déçu ! cette corde sonne plus fort et entre très bien en résonnance avec mon alto. En pitsicato, elle à un son de corde de guitare classique grave, c'est très étonnant pour moi qui vient de ce monde. A l'archet elle est suffisamment souple pour ce jouer facilement tout en offrant une belle projection. Le son rien à voir avec les cordes d'origine acier de mon alto. Très bon changement positif. Un défaut cependant, la corde que j'ai reçu avait quelques légère trace de début d'oxydation du métal, surement du à un lot un peu vieux, j'espère que cela ne va pas s'aggraver dans le temps, mais en tout cas, j'aime sa sonorité qui fait prendre de l'ampleur à un petit alto 14 pouces, à tester pour ceux qui souhaiterais améliorer pas à pas sa sonorité.
