Not bad

This chinrest is made of good materials. I have seen better ebony but at this price I won't complain. The clamp is very well made, the cork is especially nice. Although I prefer Hill style clamps, this kind of regular clamp is lighter and it works well.

I'm using this chinrest with the Kun 300c shoulder rest and I find it pretty comfortable for the moment after trying many other combinations.

Good ebony quality but installation tricky
Maria BB 23.01.2026
The ebony is quite good (much heavier than the one I replaced) and the finish is nice as well. The barrels though don't appear to be of the same manufacture quality, they don't align well and get easily out of position, one got stuck and was extremely difficult to unscrew it and I scratched the barrel badly (hope there is a replacement to get with my next order from Thomann).
