Excellent looper
My Headrush Looperboard was extremely annoying to use and unfriendly (subjective opinion of course) so I decided to try this one after selling the Looperboard.
What a fantastic decision. The layout of this thing is incredibly intuitive - I just started pressing stuff without RTFM and I was looping and actually enjoying what I was doing, in like 10 minutes.
Allegedly for experienced MK1 users, the MK2 has many downsides but I never used MK1 so to me its a great product out of the box. Updating firmware worked fine on a Mac Mini.

Love It!
I've been using the Boss RC-505 MKII for a couple of weeks now, and I’m really impressed. The sound quality is excellent, and it captures my playing beautifully. The five tracks are perfect for layering, and I love how easy it is to switch between them.
The interface is pretty intuitive, so I didn’t have too much trouble figuring things out right away. The built-in effects add a nice touch without being overwhelming.
It feels sturdy and well-made, which is great since I plan to take it to gigs. Overall, I’m really enjoying it so far—definitely a solid looper for anyone into live performance!

so powerful
This machine is strongly powerful, there so many inputs, inside synthesizer, so much effect from old school to modern. Really good machine. Owner's guide is as fat as the bible, but this shows the so big versatility of the RC 505 mkii

Industry leader quality & costumer service & price
I wanted to build a music corner as my hobby and that requires a couple of things. It was a huge suprise that all that I needed was present on Thomann's site, but not just they're present, they had all good prices. I have contacted the costumer service 2 seperate times, both of them went as fluid as one can imagine. So refreshing to see a company making sure the costumer is satisfied and treated special. Everything arrived as advertised & quick. It's hard to pin-point a thing they could improve on.
Definitely gonna choose them in the future. The go-to audio shop!

steep learning curve
I found this a very hard machine to master, largely because I hate reading manuals unless I'm stuck, but it's worth the effort. The capabilities are pretty incredible for the price mark. The sound quality is generally good enough for most things and once you've nailed the obscure menu diving, it's really really really fun and a very quick way to jam live or create fun effects and loops in your productions.

Works for me
Paired with the Nektar Pacer midi controller it's my ideal looping setup for a solo acoustic act.
