Very Useful blutooth Pedal

New release from Boss.
I like this pedal easy to use and configure, it offers a selection of vintage pedals in a compact format and therefore can remain unmoved on my pedal board. The fact that it memorises settings, has a midi clock in and pedal control capabilities makes it very useful indeed.

There were a lot backlash when PX-1 was announced, I can confirm that there's no need for subscription, there is however an in-app purchase where you purchase upcoming effects or even bundled option, which has been advertise, I thought it's a good idea especially for my minimalist build, it can be jack of all trades, it's also a good platform to try out faithful recreations of discontinued BOSS effects which I may never ever buy, I just wish I am able to store all effects I've purchased which is the only downside for me

If Boss software was 21st century

The additional effects don't load despite product and roland cloud registration. Got tired of trying to fix it. In this day of age, software should be effortless, Boss should finally hire proper software developers if they want digital / internet based products. I wanted to like this pedal, couldn't manage. Product deregistered and returns to Thomann... Too bad.

Fantastic reproduction of classic pedals

This pedal is just perfect for selecting the odd hardly used effect such as flanger, slow gear...etc
The user interface takes a bit of getting used to..
The phone app is just absolutely awful.
But it sounds great....

Sadly Thomman sent me a returned unit in guise of brand new and customer services support of this issue is very poor
