This is a volume pedal. It is listed as an expression pedal. It fails me as an expression pedal. I _do_ have a use for it though. It has the right port configuration to serve as a 4-cable method volume controller in the effects loop. In this specific capacity it becomes a valuable device for me. The Boss EV-30 completely blows it away as an effects controller.
