Ich wollte damit den Output eines Mac Mini in SDI 12 G überführen. Nach reichlich probieren und Supportticket funktioniert es nun. Das Problem: "Ungenaue" Angaben des Herstellers zu den Features. Das Gerät konvertiert zwar auf Wunsch jeden Input-*Auflösung* in FullHD oder UltraHD. Das gilt aber nicht (!) für die *Frequenz*. Wer am Ausgang 2160p50 haben möchte, muss 50 rein tun, nicht etwa 25. Wird die falsche Frequenz rein getan, bleibt z.B. der ATEM am Ausgang dunkel, weil er auf 50 eingestellt ist und selbst auch nicht konvertieren kann. Bei dem Preis hätte ich eine "Sorglos-Lösung" erwartet, die alles frisst und standardisiert ausspuckt. Problem: Stellt man die Frequenz am Mac falsch ein und hat keinen weiteren Monitor dabei -> das war's, der Bildschirm ist ja dunkel. Weiteres Ärgernis: Der Lüfter aktiviert sich von Zeit zu Zeit und ist SEHR laut (wohl wie meist bei BMD). Ich kann übrigens nur empfehlen, sich auch gleich das Display-Panel mitzubestellen, dann hat man mehr Chancen zu sehen, wo das Signal "hängt". Die einzige einstellbare Frequenzkonvertierung ist die von 60 auf 59,9x. Möglicherweise ist mancher mit einem VideoAssist 12G besser bedient.
