Hopefully improved
This is the second time the left side sliders broke on my headphones.
The new set have a changed design and are now hopefully improved in sturdiness.
I'm crossing my fingers that the left side won't break again.
Even though these are expensive and so far have been unreliable the DT880 Pro are still worth their money in my opinion.

Good, but could be better
I wish these were made with better materials so it runs an even lower risk of breaking again, I would gladly pay a little more for that extra peace of mind but I'm glad they exist and can be easily swapped. So far so good with mine.

Kind of pricey, but works and is way better than getting a new pair.
While I'm glad beyerdynamic offers these replacement parts, I do find them pricey for what they are. While that's said, they're easy to repair, and there's a very good reason why the DT770's are a timeless classic, which lasts forever.

The fact that you can buy these alone puts Beyerdynamic a league above other companies!
After 5 years of everyday (!) use original sliders on my Beyerdynamics 770 DT Pro broke. Problem? What problem? You buy these and you're good for next 5 years!!
If i have to nitpick - price is a bit too steep for few bits of plastic and screws but it still beats buying a new pair or jury rigging this stuff!
