do yourself a favor and buy a better product!

I bought this pedal because I wanted a MONOPHONIC octave pedal for a particular application:

I had bought a BOSS-RC3 looper from Thomann (highly recommenced) and I wanted a pedal that I can add one layer of bass sound to my loops. I didn't want a polyphonic octave pedal, nor octave up, and I didn't want to spend much money on it. So I decided to buy the cheapest pedal. The sound quality was important for me, but the BUILT quality was not important for me, because I don't gig with a octave pedal and we have our bass player. I just wanted to have some fun.

Because I had used Behringer's products in the past and I was pleased, I decided to give this pedal a chance: What a wrong decision!

The pedal has all the necessary knobs: one for mixing your dry signal, one for mixing 1 octave down signal, and one for mixing 2 octave down signal. When the pedal is engaged, there is a little amount of Hiss (ok, that could be tolerated), but when you play with it, it produces a NICE 1 octave/2 octave down sound WITH A HARSH UNWANTED NOISE (think dial-up modems when connecting), making this pedal absolutely unusable even for a kid!

I am not sure whether this is a defect or it is because the pedal is so cheap!

Anyway, I requested money back from Thomann.
Thank you thomann! :)

A cheap plastic copy of the Boss OC3, which also sounds horrible. Failed to find any decent sounds, didn't track notes well.
