Workable.
The functionality is workable. No hum or noise heard when use. Tone won't be ruin when bypass or effect on.
For pros,
1. Affordable price:
I think there is no other 7 band graphic equalizer pedal product can be purchased by this affordable price.
2. Good look appearance:
In my opinion, this pedal has a BOSS-like appearance design and golden ratio (well...maybe almostly) dimension. The other similar low price EQ don't looks as well as this one. Moore is too slim, Artec si too corny...etc. Well, no offence, I think this is subjective and I write what I think.
3. Function workable:
This is the most important. Every frequency band worked as what frequency written.
For cons,
1. Not true-bypass:
I suggest Thomann should stop to advertise it is a true bypass pedal. I found the foot switch is a non-lock type and there are only 2 contact been controlled. It 's impossible to implement "true bypass" by this switch component with only 2 contact. But as I described above, I feel it not ruin my tone when bypass or effect on. I think non true bypass won't be problem.
2. Seems to be fragile
Although it looks like a BOSS pedal but the plastic part is thinner than and inferior to BOSS's. I haven't broken it after several times kick but I can feel it not stable as pedal from other major manufacture
3. Hard to find battery socket:
I don't have other pedal with same design for battery install. The manual inside doesn't describes it. So I have no idea to install battery. I have to youtube it myself then I learned how to install a battery.
4. No center detent on faders:
As other review describes, there is no center detent design on all the fader POTs so you can't adjust the level to precise 0dB. I can only ensure by aligning the line mark.
As a bass beginner, this pedal does be helpful to me for trying to be up on adjust tone of bass guitar. I think my penny is worth. This is absolutely best equalizer pedal choice to people has low budget.

good, basic eq
Good basic 7-band eq. Does the job well. As good as the Boss one. This one is made from plastic, but several real-life examples show that this device is durable. I've had it now for a few years and it has worked faultlessly.

Decent and cheap
I dont play bass, I use it to EQ a stompbox on my set up. It does the job perfectly and with no noise. I dont think would be no noise if you conect it to a bass. It does not fit for studio recording purposes.

I bought this pedal to complete a pedalboard (along with the Behringer BOD) with which i play at home and it does what is supost to. It?s nothing special but it does the job. The main downside for most people will be the plastic construction, i wouldn't rely on it in a live setting on stage.

Low cost but functional
The plastic construction does not feel as sturdy and durable as metal construction of e.g. Boss pedals. The sliders feel a bit fragile. However if you are nice to it it looks it should last.
You can power it either from an adaptor or from a 9V battery. I did not check how long the battery lasts; the access to the battery is not as straightforward as in Boss pedals so don't forget to change it before taking it to a gig if you don't have an adaptor or might not be able to use it.
It also introduces a bit of hiss when active.

For the price the best
For these review i have to keep the price in my mind. But what i searched for?
I searched for a cheap floor board equalizer to give my bass a little bit more thickness. So i ordered these Behringer pedal.
It looks like the Boss equalizer pedal and has eight bands to modulate the sound. A level slide switch allows level correctures. A blue LED shows you the equalizer works. This LED is very light...
Now, the stability of the pedal... OK, its of plastic, so not as stable as the expensive Boss pedals. But it works!
On Sound, the pedal works like an equalizer pedal. I detected some noises when the pedal is on, so not perfect.
I think because of the price, this pedal is the best for beginners, like i was when i baught this pedal.

Good budget option
Works well and has good spectral range. Main downside is the flimsy construction which means it won't survive long in your average gig environment, but then again I am not sure this is where it is aimed at. Mine still works but looks like it has been to war and back so resale value is nonexistent.
Soundwise, does everything any brand one will and work great with relatively low batter consumption. Just don't stomp on it too hard.

Good but slightly plasticky feel.
A good cheap eq pedal with good headroom.
Does the job.
Not as good as the Harley Benton one which used to be sold.

Does the job
You would imagine that for the price It wont do the job properly, but there you are wrong. I does modify the equalization quite precise.
I have tried to use it on a guitar, since the equalization range its just higher on the low end, and obviously with my bass guitar.
It does the EQ job both on guitar and on Bass.
It can it be used as a signal booster as well.
No alien sounds on the signal.
I can recommend it.
