GU
Love this guitar
George UK 12.05.2026
Pros:

Amazing sound. I was looking for a versatile guitar that I can both mix with other instruments and play solo, in different genres, and this guitar is exactly what I was looking for.
The sound is well-defined; bass, mid, and treble are in a good balance, without any part of the range being too much or too little.
I'd say the sound has a little pinch of dryness to it, but to me, it's good; it makes the sound neutral enough to facilitate shaping it into whatever I'd like, without losing too much of the resonance and the overtones.

The guitar is very well built

I checked the intonation tool after setting up the truss rod - most of the frets up to the 12th fret deviate no more than +-2 cents from the expected tone. This is very good

It's very lightweight - about 2.6 kilos - which is really easy to hold and carry. The guitar is very comfortable to play.

For my big hands, this 46 mm neck feels nice, I can easily play it without touching the other strings, both right hand (when fingerpicking) and left hand. I'm moving from a classical guitar neck (50mm) and find it easy.

And funny enough, it smells so good. I think it's because the black walnut sides and back - I just love it.

Neutral:
I haven't checked the pickup sound, but I'm planning to replace it anyway.

Cons:
Very personal - I'd love to see a satin/matte version. This one is high-gloss. Probably will look for a way to make it satin.

Overall:
Amazing guitar, highly recommend!
