It should work with all trombones

I put them on a cheap old Olds tenor trombone and a King Sonorous w F-attachment. It is elastic enough to fit both and give food feeling when resting the slide tip on the floor (DO NOT LEAN ON IT!!!).

Any impact in the sound is probably just in your head.
