I bought this to replace the one I'd had 30 years which had lost all plating on the shank. Mouthpieces are a personal thing, this is bright and powerful from pedal Bb up 3 octaves. Not popular with orchestral conductors though as it cuts through any ensemble. Best Price from Thomann.
