Ich habe eine Guild D25 und hatte alte D'Addario Saiten drauf. Die habe ich nun gewechselt durch diese hier. Ich Trottel habe mir gleich 2 Sätze von diesen Saiten bestellt :))) Die Augustine Saiten klingen muffig und dumpf. Die erste E-Saite hat schwarzen Belag drauf, den man sogar fühlen kann und der nicht runter geht.. für mich ein ganz klares "never again!!!"

Früher spielte ich immer auf meiner Konzertgitarre Augustine Saiten. Jedoch hatte die Firma meines Erachtens die Weiterentwicklung verschlafen und war nicht mehr erste Wahl im Vergleich zu anderen Herstellern. Aus Nostalgie habe ich mir diese Saiten bestellt und bin nun durchaus positiv überrascht. Auf meiner Martin klingen die Saiten recht gut, es gibt aber auch bessere Saiten, jedoch nicht unbedingt für diesen Preis. Somit sind die Augustine Acoustic Medium 13.56 für mich ein interessantes Angebot mit einem sehr guten Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.
