A powerhouse for taking to small venues

Being a metal vocalist, I faced a lot of issues with gain around my microphone and having little room rejection causing me to over push my vocals. I chose this because of its counterparts and this microphones more extreme approach to rejection, I get clear vocals without getting enough little room sound and little requirement to push, it works great for what we are doing and provides consistent performance across many different types of venues. 100% recommending adding to a microphone collection

Top Mikrofon für singende Drummer!

Ich spiele Schlagzeug in mehreren Bands und übernehme auch oft den Leadgesang. Da ich eine recht laute und kräftige Stimme habe, komme ich mit fast allen Mikros mit mehr oder weniger EQ zurecht.
Hauptproblem ist, das immer relativ viel bleed von den Drums im Gesangskanal landet. Hier unterscheidet sich das Audix OMX-T deutlich von den anderen amtlichen Vocal Mics. Es braucht zwar deutlich mehr Gain am Mixer und muss wirklich sehr nah besprochen werden, aber dafür kommt ohne viel EQ ein sehr klarer Sound aus den Boxen, der sich gut auch in lauten Bands durchsetzt. Und das "Gain before Feedback" ist wirklich der Hammer!
Ich hatte es eigentlich nur mal interessehalber gekauft, aber werde es sicher behalten!
