Disappoinment!
I bought an Audient iD14 last year, and unfortunately I’ve had ongoing hardware issues with it. The first unit had inconsistent output voltages across all the outputs, so I sent it in for repair. It came back “fixed,” but the exact same problem reoccured within a week, so I had to send it in again.
This time the service center couldn’t repair it, so they replaced with a new device.
The replacement worked fine for a while, but last week (February 2026) the front JFET instrument input failed. I never changed any settings, the input level dropped by around 50 dB, making the channel basically unusable.
At this point, even though the specs are the best for the price and the software mixer is very flexible, the hardware itself keeps failing on me. Two different devices breaking down three times is just too much, and I was honestly fed up.
I had to ask Thomann for a refund, and they approved it immediately. I want to thank Thomann for their good customer service and understanding.
There are some people who mentioned similar problems on the reviews. But I also see a lot of people here are happy with their Audient interfaces, so I guess I’ve just been unlucky. I'll move on to something more reliable now. Probably ssl2+ or motu m4.

No magic happened
It is a cheap interface with nice converters. So Audient had to crop costs somewhere and they did. Drivers are awful.
It pops with full volume every time you turn it on, so be careful with your monitors.
It drops volume settings to full sometimes you turn it on.
When you turn off your external master clock device, drivers are just crushing. You have to turn device off and back on.
"DI" input is not really DI. It has low maximum input level so be sure your medium/hot electric guitar pickups will make this "DI" input clip.
It has nice DAC and nice main outputs. But user experience kills it's advantages so bad job Audient.
