ASM Hydrasynth Desktop

Great build quality, and a beautiful beast on my desk. I really wanted to let it stay there, with its shiny lights and unlimited sound shaping possibilities. But at the end of the day my mind was not happy with the not so intuitive UI. (There is a reason for the very thick manual!) And then there is my major gripe, which turned out to be a complete deal breaker - the very unresponsive pads! That is, the velosity curve and after touch can be set to your liking, but you have to put substantial pressure to the pads to even get them to wake up, and that makes the unit impossible to play for me. And since I chose this version specifically because of the pads, it has to go back. Sorry for that…
