Premium MIDI controller

Arturia KeyLab 88 mk3 Black USB MIDI keyboard

The Arturia KeyLab 88 Mk3 Black is the third generation of Arturia's versatile MIDI controller, now enhanced with new features and a larger display for an even smoother workflow. Updates include a scale mode, an integrated arpeggiator, and a versatile chord mode, along with an improved user interface. The 88-key keybed has been completely reengineered for better key balance, weighting, and smoother hammer action. In addition to playing melodies, the 12 velocity-sensitive pads (organised across four banks) are ideal for triggering samples. With nine encoders and nine faders, the controller offers precise, hands-on control over all parameters, making it ideal for everything from shaping virtual instruments to managing DAW mixer settings – both in the studio and on stage.

Fully decked-out MIDI controller

For clear and intuitive operation, the Arturia LeyLab's control panel is divided into three main sections. On the far left are the pitch and modulation wheels, used for real-time control of pitch bends and modulation effects. Above them are buttons for adjusting transpose and octave settings. The 12 performance pads can be used to trigger samples, play chords, or send MIDI data, and they support polyphonic aftertouch for added expressive control. Dedicated controls allow for quick access to MIDI effects like chord mode, note hold, scale selection, and arpeggiation. Directly below is the transport section, offering hands-on control for playback and recording in a DAW. The display sits at the center of the panel, and is paired with context-sensitive buttons and a main rotary encoder for navigating menus and settings. To the right of the screen, encoders and faders offer precise control over levels, parameters, panning, and other key adjustments.

Advanced DAW control

The Arturia KeyLab 88 Mk3 Black is built for producers who demand intuitive, hands-on control over their virtual instruments and DAW – in the studio and on stage. The rear panel offers inputs for two pedals, supporting both expression and sustain functions. MIDI data can be transmitted and received via standard MIDI ports, and in addition to USB connectivity, the controller can be powered using an optional 12V power supply. Additionally, a comprehensive software bundle is included, providing everything needed to start producing right away; the package features Analog Lab Pro, Mini V, Augmented STRINGS, and Rev PLATE-140.

About Arturia

Arturia's success story began with software emulations of well-known analogue synthesizers such as the Moog Minimoog, Sequential Prophet-5, and Oberheim SEM. The popular software instruments included in the V Collection are still flagship products of the French developer today. Over time, Arturia has gradually expanded its range and now also offers a host of hardware devices, ranging from synthesizers and keyboard controllers to sequencers. Since then, the former software developer has thus also become a household name in the world of analogue synthesizers and other equipment.

Seamless integration into any setup

With MCU and HUI support, the Arturia KeyLab 88 Mk3 Black connects seamlessly to all major DAWs via its rear-panel USB-C port. Once powered on, the controller's DAW mode can be activated, allowing users to load tailored control presets from the Global Settings menu. Supported DAWs include Ableton Live, Apple Logic Pro, Bitwig Studio, Image-Line FL Studio, and Steinberg Cubase. The high-quality keybed with semi-weighted keys, velocity sensitivity, and aftertouch delivers a natural and responsive playing experience. Built from premium materials, the Arturia KeyLab 88 Mk3 Black is engineered for durability – perfect for both studio work and live performance. Its ergonomic layout also ensures a smooth, efficient workflow, even during extended sessions.

R
Incredible 88-key midi keyboard
RulesOfDelta 09.06.2025
The overall build quality is amazing. The keybed itself is also really good. I can recommend it overall.

As for the sustain pedal issues; go to the pedal settings on the KeyLab 88 and calibrate the pedal, otherwise you'll get inverted sustain pedal controls. After that it should work fine.

T
Sehr gutes Controller Keyboard
Tobesn 27.10.2025
