Aquarian ist - meiner Erfahrung nach - nunmehr der einzige Hersteller der es schafft ein vernünftiges Coating herzustellen! Was einem da Remo und Evans andreht find ich dagegen einfach inakzeptabel. Vom Sound her ähnlich einem Ambassador, vlt. eine Nuance wärmer, da amtlicheres Coating. Lebensdauer unterscheidet sich meiner Meinung nicht von anderen Herstellern.

und noch was: Der Fellreifen ist sehr sauber verarbeitet und rechteckig, d.h. der Spannreifen zentriert sich so gut wie von selbst. - ein kleiner Nachteil kann sich bemerkbar machen, denn der Durchmesser des Fellrings fällt etwas kleiner aus als bei Remo.

Seit ich dieses Fell auf meinen Toms habe klingen diese genau so wie ich es wollte.
Etwas Vintage angehaucht, nicht so glatt gebügelt wie mit klaren PinStripes.
Der Sound ist Voll und passt genau zu meinen Vorstellungen:
