Warm and clear.

I have used many heads over the years, with some delivering better than others with the sound intended. I realise that tone and projection are like tastes, in that it’s open to interpretation and what one likes. Having played professionally for some time, this head delivers a warm, clear and controlled pallet, with a more rounded sticking tone. It responds well to higher tuning for the jazz cats (in teach in three universities, one which specialises in jazz), as well as the vintage sound through to a more Blues/Pop/Rock vibe aka John Mayer. Simply, the heads are great and will fit most drummers musical tastes. To note, they are as consistent live, or better still in the studio, where the warmth is really noted (especially through a Neve 1073 ;-)

J'aime ces peaux, 3 de mes toms sont équipées de ces peaux. Pour moi elle sont un peu épaisent et sablé. Leurs couleurs fait penser à des anciennes. Mes peaux de toms sont toujours tendus au minimum ce qui donne un son grave et chaud avec une bonne résonances de profondeur. Je recommande.
