Ampeg cannot go wrong in bass amps can they?
Didn't have high expectations on this but blew me out of the water.
The grit button is a very nice addition , you can rehearse without pedals so as to add drive, for home studio/rehearsals alongside e-drums its power is adequate.

clean tones are incredible. the grit is a nice feature though a gain pot would be nice. i use this for electric guitar aswell and it sounds great

This is a well know and recommended brand of amps for basses. For the price, this is a great entry/home/essay playing. Solid sound, simple dials, not heavy for being an 30W. The only thing you may not like is materials: dials feels quite plastic, not like the old ones, but thats it. Still a very good alternative to the Fender rumbler's in the same price range. Just get it, you will not regret it.
