Review of the All parts "Tremol-no"
Gerard767 02.08.2013
The Tremol-no is a device which , when installed in a guitar with a floating tremelo system, can be used to either prevent the tremelo form rising out of the guitar's body, effectively making it a "dive only" tremelo(reducing the risk of string breakage, or it can be used to lock the tremelo down completely, as if the guitar had a fixed bridge. This can be done by fastening the screws on the tremol-no.
The tremo-no is an invaluable piece of equipment for the guitarist who needs to alter the tuning of a guitar, who would in any other case not be able to because of it's floating tremelo system.
I use the tremel-no to change between standard and dropped tunings on my guitar which has a "Floyd-Rose" tremelo system. Without the tremol-no, this wouldn't be possible.
If I were to have a small qualm about the Tremol-no, it would be that in order to fasten the screws which either fix or limit the tremelo's ability to move freely, excessive force is required to ensure it is absoloutley tight.
In conclusion, the All-parts "Tremol-no" is a useful piece of equipment for the guitarist who has a guitar and needs it to do everything - at once capable of string snapping dive bombs and vibrato, the tremol-no will fix the bridge of the same guitar making it perfectly versatile.

The tremol-no really addresses any issues a guitarist might have with either tuning or else playing country style bends on a guitar with a floating bridge.

It works really very well and is very convenient when you want the best of both worlds. It also has increased the sustain of my Fender Strat a bit as it is more dense than the previous springs.

I bought this product 2 years ago and have had it installed in my guitar since. The instruction manual is very easy to follow and can be installed very easily or else if you're not comfortable by a technician.

My only criticism is the knobs have a tendency to fall out and get lost. However I emailed the company directly and they were more than happy to send out replacements free of charge.

Would recommend this product.

Fiddly, but the best trem
Andrew5013 17.04.2016
Bit complicated, but the best on the market imho.

Seems to improve tone as an additional bonus, bit more presence in the mids.

Just be careful to keep an eye on the screws - easily lost.

Best non-mod you can make to any strat
Dive bomb for glory 02.08.2020
Put this on my AM Strat, wow. Increased sustain a little bit (a lot when it's locked in), there's no added friction or noise (if it's set-up correctly), and I now only ever need 1 guitar for any gig; standard, drop D, fixed bridge style bends, alt-tunings, this thing has been keeping me going for years now, and it's still going strong.
Also, I get sad now when I play a guitar without one, so just be aware of that.

Amazing.

Such a simple design, yet it works perfectly.
Bought this for my Cort G260 OPN as I didn't like the way the tremolo dipped when I went to an open tuning or even into drop D and just keeping it hard-tailed wasn't cutting it for me.
The installation was really simple and the setup was just the same. It even has some hex screws on top of the regular trem screws to keep it even tighter.
Being able to change tunings on the fly and still use your tremolo after it is a huge bonus, the Tremol-No is just amazing. Haven't had a single problem with it yet, maybe just that I don't know how to setup the dive-only mode (perhaps I screwed up while installing it, but oh well)
Would recommend this to anyone who wants to change tunings at their will but also use the tremolo in whenever they want to.

A great gadget for strats

The Tremol-no is easy to install and does not require any special tools or skill except for some basic stuff. It keeps the tuning really stable even when I go crazy with string bending!

Made it harder for me to change strings
Anonymous 26.05.2016
It's quite easy to set up but there is a big downside for me.

The Pin Type is recommended for the FAT-10 bridge of my Ibanez GRG170DX guitar.

However, I found that if I were to re-string my instrument, I would have to unclasp the pin head because it partially blocks one of the hole running through bridge.

I tested bullet-end Fender strings and the loop-style d'Addario strings.
I had to loosen the Tremol-No, hence losing my tunings, and unscrew the pin head so that I may move it out of the way to replace the 4th and 5th strings.

This make it even harder for me to change strings. However it does it's job of blocking the bridge, makes it easy to use alternate tunings for instance.

Bottom-line:
It's not worth the price considering the downsides, in my particular case.
