Als Kontrabass-Novize fragt man sich nach einiger Zeit, ob besseres Equipment zu besserem Spiel führen kann. Für diesen Bogen muss ich die Frage mit einem deutlichen "JA" beantworten. Zum Vergleich stand zwar nur ein Anfängerbogen für ca. 50 €, den ich einige Monate spielte, um dann mit einiger Skepsis den Stingl zu bestellen.

Mit dem Stingl entsteht ein deutlich definierter und richtig dicker Ton, die Tonbildung ist sehr direkt. Der Kolophoniumauftrag ist viel haltbarer, wofür die qualitativ hochwertige Behaarung verantwortlich sein dürfte.

Der Bogen liegt sehr gut in der Hand. Es macht Spass, diesen Bogen zu spielen. Für diesen Preis würde ich sagen: "Ein echtes Schnäppchen".

Ich muss sagen: Ich bin begeistert. Der Bogen ist durchaus bezahlbar, sieht sehr schmuck aus (an meinem Pechschwarzen King-Bass ;o) ) und macht auch mit eher bogenunfreundlichen Saiten (Presto Nylons - eine, wenn nicht DIE Slap-Saite) einen wirklich runden, warmen und schönen Ton, der wahrscheinlich nur dadurch besser werden könnte, wenn man ein Vielfaches für einen richtigen Profi-Bogen ausgibt und - und das ist wohl für einen wirklichen Unterschied entscheidend - den Spieler austauscht ;o)

Für Arco-Anfänger und für leicht Fortgeschrittene ist dieser Bogen ein sehr gutes Werkzeug mit gutem Klang und hervorragender Verarbeitung.
