Well, I am not sure...
Price and features ar pretty good, thats why I bought it.
But after 4 Recordings I didnt manage to get a decent sound out of it.
(I am professional musician an Projectstudio owner for about 20 years, I think I know how to handle a mic)
First time with my gain staging I do most of the time, I had a very bad and loud humming on the recording. Actually the recording was useless. With the following, i tried more subtle gainstaging, with way less gain. The humming was still there, but way lower and the sound got awkwardly high-mid-heavy and sounds almost distorted. I am not sure if I am doing something wrong with the positioning of the mic. But as I said, after 4 recordings, no decent signal. I think, I will ask Thomann to return the mic.

Good build quality, solid XLR connector and reasonable frequency pickup. But TERRIBLE amounts of self-noise make this almost unusable for live applications. Paired with noise reduction software (FIR in Reaper), it's usable on recorded tracks. But its annoying having to do this extra step.
