This fits nicely on my desk to give me a keyboard, drum pads and some DAW controls in one unit. Lots of features including arpeggiator and one finger modes for people like me who don't play keyboards. I looked at the Mk3, but prefer the pitch/mod wheels over the joystick.

Nachdem ich Arturia und Novation letztes Jahr benutzt habe war jetzt Akai dran. Mit Ableton und einer APC sowie Roland TR 6 und MC 101 ist das die beste Ergänzung. Einfache Bedienung Mappen der Fader und Start/Stop Aufnahme , Chord Funktion klappt ohne Aufwand sofort. Der Arp verlangt Tuning.
Die Software ist ebenfalls sofort gemappt und klingt sehr gut, ist aber nur für Anfänger…erst wenn Arturia mit der V-Collection aufläuft wird das Ding zum Monster. Klare Empfehlung auch wenns Verbesserungen gibt für die ich gerne das doppelte bezahlt hätte.

Für mich leider nicht brauchbar, da die Bedientasten beim Drücken ein klickendes Geräusch machen, welches auf jeder Aufnahme mit dabei ist. Mit Gummitasten manch anderer Modelle passiert dies nicht. Schade, denn ansonsten ist das ein geiles Teil. Irgendwie scheint hier (genauso wie bei den neueren Native instruments keys) der Eindruck von "Wertigkeit" wichtiger zu sein als solche Klickgeräusche, die ich nicht in meiner Aufnahme haben will
