The ART of the Tweeter

All Adam T-series speakers share one very interesting proprietary feature: ART tweeters (Accelerated Ribbon Technology), which enable long periods of operation without ear fatigue setting in. How? The tweeter's pleated ribbon construction reduces breakup and distortion to a minimum, as well as delivering a greater dynamic range, because its effective surface area is 2.5 times larger than that of comparable dome tweeters. In addition, this unique feature also ensures the tweeter is direct and responsive even at the highest frequencies and for the most complex transients, contributing to the T5Vs' linear frequency response of 45Hz to 25kHz. Finally, the cabinets' acoustically optimised design, with their characteristic bevelled edges, complements the visibly corrugated tweeter to give the speakers a very striking appearance.
