Hochprofessionelle Mallets zum absoluten Durchschnittspreis

Ein absoluter "erste Klasse" Mallet, im Preisramen von Standartmallets.
Ich bin Lehramtstudent mit Hauptfach Schlagzeug und spiele recht viel Malletinstrumente. Geld habe ich nicht gerade locker sitzen und bin daher immer auf der Suche nach einem Schnäppchen. Hier findet ihr ein Solches!
Diese Mallets spiele ich (im Burton-griff und Single) nun seit ca. 3 Monaten fast täglich.
Diser Mallet ist ein Allrounder. In den Tiefen (bis etwa zum A, letzter Ton einer 4 1/3 Marimba) und Höhen hat er einen makellosen Klang. In den Höhen hört man kein weiches Aufkommen. Nur in den ganz tiefen Lagen wird der Klang durch den Medium-Mallet etwas kurz und zu Höhen-lastig. Für diese Tiefen sind jedoch softe Mallets die einzig bessere Lösung.
Der Birkenstiel ist, anders als bei sonstigen Mallets dunkel lackiert, was ihn sehr edel wirken lässt. Entgegen meiner Erwartungen gibt es wenig Probleme beim Greifen, wenn die Hände geschwitzt sind. Für Konzerte empfehle ich trotzdem, wie für alle anderen Mallets auch: Calk (gibts in jedem Sport- oder Outdoorgeschäft).
Das Gewicht des Mallets ist geringer, als bei vergleichbaren Mallets von "Marimba One" oder "Mallet Tech".
Die Wicklung ist für meinen Geschmack etwas grob, aber dennoch robust (sorgt vermutlich für das geringe Gewicht und den tollen Klang). Ein Detail, dass mir längerfristig sehr gefällt ist, dass Yamaha diese Serie mit Farbbändern bestückt hat, die helfen, wenn man mehrere Härtegrade der Serie spielt.
Alles in allem ein Mallet, den ich allen wärmstens ans Herz legen kann, ob Amateur oder Profi.
