Great update from the U4
Olasusen 04.08.2025
I switched to the U45 from the U4 because I was having some dropouts even within a few meters radius. There was no way for me to know which channels were receiving interference, so I basically had to test every single one, which was tiring.
The improvement I got from U45 was so great that I feel comfortable saying I no longer have that problem.
Even though it doesn’t show RF strength per channel, the autoscan feature works incredibly well. So far, I haven’t had a single dropout, and the build quality is top-notch. The belt clip, in particular, is far better than the flimsy clips you often find even on more expensive systems.

Another big plus is that hardly anyone uses the 5.8 GHz band, since most professionals stick to UHF. That means I basically have the whole 5.8 band to myself — and it’s been working flawlessly. ;)

I highly suggest it to everyone.

Perfect

I have had loads of these types of things including the nu-x noisy one and the xvive U4 (which is great but way too powerful of a signal and interfered with some other 2.4Ghz gear on stage. (Never cut out itself mind you))
This new one is just as good but there’s so much more bandwidth up there so doesn’t have the same problems. Also they fixed the on/off switch now. I used to have to shave them down so they didn’t get accidentally changed. Now it’s inset so. It’s perfect. And usb c too
