WTH?
I bought three of these a while ago, and just tried them out in my home studio. The concept is very convenient for me, as I'm always swapping out pedals and I can't possible keep batteries in them all.
But they didn't work. None of the three.
After looking at the comments on this site, I flipped the polarity. They work fine. I can re-solder them, but how is it that they are wired incorrectly? All three? Quality control?

Polarities reversed !
Really disappointed because the polarities are reversed. I had to reverse the wires.

Life saver!
Well, - a battery life saver at any rate ;-) The jack sockets in some of my pedals stick out the wrong way and prevent me putting them all in nicely into my pedal board. I use an isolated power supply and this cable just clips onto the battery connector and runs between the velcro under the pedal. Just the job- I worried there might be some side effects of doing this (maybe the pedal has internal filtering on the jack socket?) but no side effects so far except for a warm feeling in my wallet that I'm not shelling out for expensive pp3's that are just biding their time, waiting to leak acid into my precious pedals!

Few usage because bought for a pedal i returned to Thomann, but seems honest, from a quality point of view. However, it could be probably less expensive, as I don't know what justifies the price.

Saving a fortune on batteries!
My sovtek big muff has no power supply input, which was a pain. I was changing the batteries constantly. The battery snap adaptor means that I never have to worry about changing them again and the sound of the muff is so much bigger. I am able to take advantage of more power from my power supply. It's strong, too, not going to break any time soon. Perfect (:

Saves on Batterys
I used to have a battery in my DI box and never needed to change it as the phantom power our desk powered it anyway so the battery was never being used! or at least that's what I thought until we were using a desk without phantom power and my guitar faded out during a gig. Having my DI box powered from this little gem gives me the piece of mind that my DI box will be powered regardless of the desk. Saves on the cost of batteries too. Well worth the money to let me focus on other things.
Happy days!!

Wrong polarity
Had to reverse the polarity, as the tip was positive.
Now it works well.

Versatile power cable
This cable will allow you to power up pedals using a 9 volt battery? Useful if the pedal does not have a battery compartment for instance or does not provide for battery use.

High class
With this cable you can power you pedals that doesn't have a 9V jack. Just replace the battery with the BAT side of the cable. And as with all Voodoo Lab products this is top notch.

Added some strange noise.
Used this for a Black Russian big muff that doesn’t have a DC jack and it worked fine for a while, but then I started getting some really weird noises coming through my amp and the pedal started acting weird. I switched back to batteries and the issues stopped.
