Moog Minitaur killer
Peach_fuzz 23.01.2026
I was looking for a mono synth for making deep punchy bass. Everybody was talking about the Minitaur but I wanted to support european brands, so I got the Vermono instead. I'm so glad I did.
That bass hit so deep your neighbours might complain, but you'll have a big smile on your face :)
The envelops are punchy, clicky if you want (otherwise just add a bit of attack) and as mentioned, it has a few LFOs for modulation which the Moog lacks.
Initially I was regretting the absence of midi sync for the LFO, but it's a design choice that pushes you to play the instrument instead. Of course a swithc would be nice, but I'm pretty sure I would always have it sync then. So yeah, that's the whole point, play that synth, it's begging you to do so.

i
like a Moog but better

ive had a lot of synths and this one is the last one I'll probably have. the filter is very similar to a Moog, the oscillators are clean and punchy and there's a ton of LFO shapes which gives you a lot more flexibility than on the minitaur for example
