Good jazz reed for when you need a bit of power
I use these with a Vandoren V16 mouthpiece on my tenor for when I'm playing with those pesky loud guitarists and drummers and need to be able to cut through the sound at jams!
The sound is full and with a nice solid mid-range, can be gritty when you want it to be but smooth otherwise.
Quality and consistency is on a par with other higher end reeds, bad ones are rare (maybe one in twenty) and generally I'm happy to pick one out of the box and use it immediately.
Experiment! your mouthpiece and technique will determine whether these reeds work for you, I've used them happily for years though.

Very responsive but soundwise to bright imho
Good and very responsive reed but soundwise this one didn't do it for me (too bright).

Good jazz reeds
Gets a great buzzy response on a metal link for jazz, found them quite inconsistent in the box though, the strength ranged from about a 2 to a 3, so need to get a decent amount of them, but the good ones are very good!

Great reeds
I really liked these reeds. They were consistent in quality and gave a good sound. Very responsive.
