I bought these to try as I currently use Vandoren V12s. I found them in general very similar, however did find it slightly more difficult to articulate using these in comparison. The reeds I received were all rather consistent, which was a nice surprise - I don't know whether I was lucky or whether they are all like this?!

The reeds are nice sounding, big and fat sound. The minus is the response which is by my opinion a bit slower then on other Vandoren reeds which occurs due to too rapid drying of the reed.

I teach and play professionally clarinet. Using at this time Playnick Tosca Puccini on a Selmer Privilege.
At first I was very impressed with the reed quality but after using them for more than over 5 years I feel I get less consistency from one box. Best setup was with my BD5 and BD4. Now with the Playnick Tosca i gravitate more playing on V12 or DAddario Reserve both at strenght 3,5.
Still recommend, and with the V12 the Rue Lepic are the best that you can get from Vandoren at this time.
