An excellent case!
This case is a fantastic size, I can still fit a BOSS size pedal behind the helix to put in a loop. I also put all my cables on top of the helix and the lid still closes easily. The only two complaints I have are the fact the case is not completely black (which is a non issue but aesthetics are important to some) and the handle. The case is very well designed but the weight of the case and helix combined means the handle feels quite uncomfortable to carry for extended periods. If the handle was slightly thicker with more material to hold on to it would be much more comfortable.

Fits Like a Glove
I bought this case to bring Helix to band rehearsals. Initially I also considered buying a bag, but decided on the case for better protection.
And for that it's great - build quality seems adequate. The unit fits in the case snugly and you don't need to worry about damaging it. Looks like a flight case usually does. The "Thon" label could have been smaller though :)
Only a few minor issues. The case is a bit heavy combined with the weight of Helix. This is unavoidable though if making a sturdy plywood case. The handle feels little flimsy for a case this heavy. The latches take some extra effort to fasten.
There could have been a bit more room for cables, but taking a bit time you can get them there.
Over all I think I made the best choice available for Helix.

Perfect fit for the Helix
I just wanted to write in and say thank you for the Thon case -- the Helix fits perfectly inside, nice and snug when closed, and has just enough extra room to fit a few necessary cables as well. I probably could have used a few more cm of room in that space, and then I could pack a stompbox or two in the case, but that would just be gravy. Everything seems to be of very good quality, so I am hopeful that I'm going to get plenty of miles from this case! Thanks again!

Very protective, but also very heavy
The case makes very well the job it is built for. It has the right protections in the right place.
Weak point is the weight, it's pretty heavy. Make also sure to perfectly fit the two pieces of the case, because the metallic borders are not too hard.

Good quality case
Got this case with my Helix in a bundle. Fits the unit perfectly. Decent quality fittings.
The build quality could be higher but it's good enough and fit for purpose. Dunno how long it will last if used very regularly but I expect to use my Helix more for recording than gigging and so it's ok for me. The clasps are a bit fiddly sometimes, when closing I sometimes 'miss' the catch and have to do it again. There were some rough bits in side in the 'cable' area of the case (bits of splinter from screws coming through etc.) but nothing of major concern.
if you plan to travel the world and gig 4/5 nights a week then maybe a stronger flight case is needed but otherwise this case is perfect.

Fits the Helix well, with room for a couple of cables too. However the Helix is positioned near the handle side of the case, which means that gravity pushes it down and deforms the foam a bit when carried, which eventually means the unit can move around a little inside. The only other downside is that the case lifts the unit a centimetre or two further off the floor so you need to use your whole leg rather than just your toes for the bottom row of switches, but that is surely unavoidable if you want to leave the unit inside the case during play.

Built to last
I`ve had the case for over a year now, I use it all the time, it`s been thrown around, heavy things have been put on it, people have sat on it, it has been sliding around the boot of many vans and still, there is virtually no sign of use anywhere on the case.
The Helix fits in perfectly, it doesn`t move around at all and there is enough space for a pretty long power cable inside it.
Basically, it`s a no brainer. If you bought the Helix, buy this case, I trust it 100%, it`s really sturdy and easy to use, I have no complaints at all.

Thon Effect Case for Line 6 Helix
I am so happy to have bougth a case for my loved Helix, some days ago I was goin rehearsal, and the helix fall down, when I was puting the all the gear in my car, the fall was heavy and the case crash very hard against the street, but.....nothing, absolutly nothing hapened to my Helix, I realy recomend to buy one of this cases if you have this fine and pricelly multieffects, that sems to be very fragil on the knobs and the screens, thanks.

Thon effect case for the line 6 Helix
This case will keep any Line 6 Helix from getting damaged the Helix fits perfectly ensuring a snug fit not allowing any movement. The lid lifts off giving access to the unit while in use so the unit can stay in the case there is also sufficiant space for cables and when finished the unit is ready to put lid back on and transport with complete reassurance that when you open the lid again the unit will be in perfect condition.
