If your hand hurts....
Recently switched to 12 string guitar I couldn't bare how my fretting hand hurted even with D'Addario's lightest gauge for 12-string. Enter the Thomastik.
The goods: Now I can play! They are noticeably lighter hence more comfortable to play. Properly taken care-of they last (I use GHS Fast Fret after each session). Thomastik is a staple of quality and besides looking beautiful all gold (if aesthetics matter to you), the whole set is very well balanced and you get even response allover the fretboard. Yeah!
The bads: You will trade volume, projection and definition for ergonomics. My guitar sounds definitely much better with the D'Addarios (I guess they might not make a lighter gauge for that reason). This loss of tone and volume might be compensated if you have piezo or transducer equipped guitar which is not my case (hence not reviewed here). At USD 26,00 per set hese strings are not cheap.
The conclussion: If like me, you have no choice but to sacrifice your tone and volume for the sake of being physically able to play, then you definitely need to try these. You have to make decisions and pay the price my friend.

Great for players with smaller hands
Great strings with a great tone. The lighter gauges make it much easier for someone like me with small hands to play a 12 string comfortably....

ME
Simply the best!
I have a 1980 Takamine 400s, also have hand health issues from previous injuries. I have tried countless brands of strings and this set has transformed the tone and playability of my guitar. Never had so many comments about how great the sound is when out playing!

Twelve string acoustic strings Thomastik AC210
I have had these strings on a Guild F-12XL std, 'jumbo' acoustic twelve string for many months, played regularly and recorded with them and they still sound great and easy to play.Expensive but worth it.
