Thomann Tibetan Zen Singing Bowl, 900g

First of all the bowl is definitely handmade, it came with a small dent inside but that doesn’t bother me, nor does it change the sound in anyway. The key is also different, the audio sample on the website is in C3 and mine is in D3 so another proof it is handmade. Now, the most important aspect, the sound is clear and it vibrates for a long time after being struck. On the down side, the pillow is pretty small, and the bowl tens to slip off. To sum it up, a good singing bowl for starters.

great for mediation and morning routines, so happy with the quality and sound, I would recommend getting the khsf 60 mallet as it gives a deep a richer sound. I would highly recommend this to everyone has a good size and sound. 100% worth it. I have just started my spiritual journey and found this singing bowl to be perfect for what I am looking for.

At the beginning I couldn't quite understand why I can't make it sound as I wanted. But after few strikes and lots of rimming, the bowl came to life and the sound it is just incredible, its main note is a G, very calming.
The bowl vibrates so intensively that you can feel the waves coming over.

Great singing bowl, very nice looking, hand hammered made, beautiful sound and not expensive. This is our first singing bowl and I'm sure we'll buy more from this Thomann series! Shipping by regular postal service took about two weeks (including custom procedure) but it is worth waiting. Thanks Thomann!

The sound is vibrating for a long time after I remove the mallet. I like the tone. It sounds like a handmade bowl.

Each of the singing bowls I purchased from Thomann I use as a healing instrument. Sound affects the molecular structure of water and we are 70% "water". Soundhealing allows the cells to align and thus providing a platform for your body to heal. This bowl I use to heal any inflammation from arthritis in my hands. It works. The sound also allows for relaxation and as a consequence of that for better sleep.

Very good singing bowl. Has a lovely tone when striking it and when rubbing the edge with the supplied mallet it has a very deep rich tone. It's also surprisingly easy to get a good tone from it. Only thing I didn't like was that the mallet has a label stuck on it which is hard to remove.

Glad I chose this size, which is a good balance of size & sound.
Also, very nicely made by hand. When struck, it sounds for over three minutes. Sings well, too. Comes with a very nice cushion & a hard/soft striker.
No criticism at all. Well worth the price.
