I've just finished writing a review for the Tascam DR-05 which I bought with the Thomann Mix Case 2118A. This was a great move for me and I am very glad I did it as It fits perfectly and you can actually drop it on a hard floor with the recorder in it and do no damage to the case or the recorder. I would recommend buying the Tascam recorder with the case for only a little extra but with peace of mind that it will be kept safe

Case for rental devices
We purchased the case pocket recorder to use them for devices we rent to hospitals and medical professionals. The box is moving inside the clinic and not always as gentle as it has to be. The locker is very good quality and we experienced no damage to the rental units. We see that in other countries they will use the same method.

Safe as houses!
I bought this case to house a transmitter for a GigA Pro pedal set and the Receiver of a wireless in ear monitoring set. Perfect fit!. Can also hold a spare battery, a link cable & the earbuds.
It has 2 compartments. It is well padded and the construction appears sturdy enough. I do not throw my gear around and tend to look after it, so I expect this case to last a very long time. It is also very affordable for a case of this type. So thank you Thomann! :)

Another great Thomann purchase
This particular size box is ideal for the use I required it for, the more delicate devices and objects. Soft and velvet cut out space with strap ins and sponge thin layer to protect the top lid of what's inside box! Very good clasps and very strong aluminium or sheer metal housing, great for harddrives and usbs or other essential products to your gig or gear supply, to be well protected along with the rest of gear. Other sizes are all available within these small flight box cases.
Fit into other flight cases and bags very slim fittingly. Well recommended to all purposes. ?????

Decent
For starters, the build quality is far from great. It may look OK at first glance but the structural integrity is highly questionable. The black finish is pretty easy to scratch, too. Unless you are on a really tight budget, I would suggest skipping this one and looking at some higher quality alternatives instead. Understandably, I wouldn't put my most prized possessions in it but it's definitely good enough for storing less expensive microphones and accessories. As you'd expect from an inexpensive case, it has a pretty unpleasant odor. Hopefully, it will evaporate within a couple of weeks of frequent use...

Durable, small & cheap
This is an excellent case where I carry my TRAM TR50 lavalier microphone including the cable and its clip-ons in.
It will only fit two small lavalier microphones and I couldn't fit my Zoom H4n which I planned on doing. I must have read&calculated wrong on the dimensions.
Other than that, this is an excellent case from Thomann. There is quality in it and doesn't feel like a cheap brand.

Nice little case
Bought and used in a bundle with Tascam DR-05.
Pros:
1)Fits 2 DR-05 or one with lav-mics, extra batteries an other small stuff;
2)Well padded;
3)Seams rugged: have been fallen- no problems.
Cons:
1)Shiny- not for inconspicuous use
2)A handle would be great

Great handheld recorder case.
I'm currently using 2 of those for my handy recorders.
My TASCAM DR100 MK3 fits into it perfectly with a small tripod, windshield and some small accessories. It might be a little too big for my ZOOM H2 and its accessories, but it still gives solid protection for it.
The box itself is light, but very sturdy, I've had no problems with locks or hinges.
